“Yatahey”

Means “it is good” or “all is good”It is pronounced “yah-ah-Teh” and is often spelled “yá át tééh”. For example, if someone asks “How is the weather?” and the response is “Yatahey”, it means “it’s good”. “Yatahey” can also be used to part ways.

 

Wampum

Wampum means “group costs”. These are what is paid per camp to cover food, firewood, and activities.
